Interesting... multiple stems, covered in thorns... Vines reaching up and choking the delicate flower... Beautiful! Is this just a picture you made, or is there a meaning behind it?

I made the picture for an art group long ago, the theme was memento mori. The flower stands for youth and the thorns slowly cover the rose, so they symbolise aging.
